Raf Simons
Just when we feel like todays Fashion has become so commercial and sort of impersonal and thus has lost a lot of its magic: we see this. Raf succeeds to create this little magic moments with his Shows. You can feel there is happening something, that he tries to express something: an attitude, an opinion. Raf is one that has understood that music is everything when it comes to runway Shows. With it, he creates such an emotional and sensual moment, which reminds us so much of Yves Saint Laurents personality. Someone that is a bit off the mainstream Fashion scene. We absolutely love Raf and the way he works....

Louis Vuitton
Louis Vuitton is not a real fashion-fashion Brand, it’s core business are accessories. BUT there is Menswear by Design genius Kim Jones. He masters every collection to be super clean, high-end and elegant. Here a bit disappointed by the collaboration with streetwear Brand Supreme. But it all sticks with the ongoing Streetswear/Blogger disaster Style. Fashion is still stuck and needs to find its path to future. Transition is awaited....

Calvin Klein
Maybe one of the most anticipated moments of the season. After leaving a radical modernisation at Dior, he inspired a whole industry to a much modern way of putting fabrics and materials together. Raf’s take on the United States: almost a pale color army with some references to royal tennenbaums, which was kinda a trend this season (Gucci, Fendi). We instantly fell in Love with the yellow dress that has its fur covered by a PVC overlay....

Tim Coppens
Unknown Designer which make it to the Vogue or get enough attention besides all the massive luxury giants? Well we couldn’t name a few.. BUT! Check out Tim Coppens recent fashion show at Pitti Uomo in Milan. So much freshness on the runway and that from a newer brand, we love love!...

Junya Watanabe
Collaborations are a thriving thing in todays fashion system. I mean Rihanna x Puma or Louis Vuitton x Supreme (and the list goes on). Normally we don’t really think this designer is known for its capability to be as modern as possible but maybe with the help of the North Face Design team they succeeded a very up to date collection with some serious must have jackets! Take a look....

Hermès
French elegance by Hermes, a bit restricted and limited in it’s own universe as Collections resembles each other quite heavily. Always the leather Jackets, Pullovers, Pants and almost the same cut. The only trendy thing are the shearling collars. And they’re ‘in’ since quite some years now.. But it’s a brand for Business people – so no shock....

Haider Ackermann
Haider Ackermann: a man with several cultural influence by growing up in different countries. He masters the menswear to be always elegant and hip and still catches the current vibes. Velvet seems to be his main love affaire since quite some seasons now. We agree and love it, because there is always a new way he works with it....

Givenchy
Givenchy’s latest Riccardo Tisci Menswear Show took place in Paris. Will this finally change this long-lasting period of the ever present Star symbols and prints? The Dark Givenchy will finally die? We will see in June this Year. But for sure Givenchy played this Image to the fullest and some looks were really cool and modern. Coat’s adorned with extra big Buttons or the modern closure of the Duffle Coats: we love!...

Dries Van Noten
US suburbia western look, the Boy next door that brings over some Pizza and coke to your friday movie night. That’s sort of the stereotype of Dries Van Noten’s latest menswear collection. A lot of fabrics and approaches remind us of Raf Simons work. Especially the Jackets and Sweaters with padded synthetical fabrics. Copy cat? Thought the Coats and Suits really look fresh and young – compared to all the normed suits we see each season from other upscale Brands. ...

Dior Homme
Hardior Gloomy boys walk down the Dior Homme Fall 2017 Runway in Paris. The strong and hard image given to models comes to live with the very Techno and bass-heavy sound and light Show. The new (a bit strange) look for a Dior collection reminds heavily of the ongoing Vetements-Movement. Which is composed of: a lot of mixing Streetwear-Style and strange looking Personas. That is the core that creates Newness these days. The brown Fur look with the same color scheme of brown and white-orange rib knits is (was?) actually a signature Style of Givenchy! All in all a very young (Is it just us, or do male models get younger and younger these days?) and fresh collection, that surely nails the current underground, ‘mix mix’-Streetstyle movement. Afer this Show, we’re left with some new Energy and drive. In this way, not bad Dior. ...
