Still that 70’s grunge wave like we’re used to from Gucci. It’s done in this Italian ‘apart way’. Again we see a mix mix of styles, from an intellectuel literature student to the furry slippers which give an almost exact copy from Italian sister company Gucci.
Prada is for sure always in this strange artsy mood, they play with not very coherent elements just to appear disturbed – thus to create a newness. They want to confuse the customer with the argument that it’s new, the client is overwhelmed and buys. There are even 90’s vibes in the collection, we live the transition period! Prada shows that time has changed in this collection, so you could actually say well done. In our times we aren’t pleased with the present until finally the next chapter opens. We’ll see!
